"A lovely place if you want to get away from everything. A rural setting and would be a wonderful location for children - cows and sheep in the fields around and plenty of facilities for them. Need your own transport to travel into Bayeux or Tilly Sur Seuilles. A choice of accommodation - we had a nice chalet. There are wigwams, yurts, caravan. The whole site has a quirky atmosphere but is quite magical. Proprietor very friendly. "

"This was a lovely spot for touring Mont St. Michel area. Our room was well appointed. The host greeted us and showed us how everything worked. "We were hosted by a welcoming farm couple to the upstairs bedroom and private bathroom in their home. Beautiful farm village just 5 minutes drive from the town of St James where we could shop. "No lounge, no bar it was essentially a ‘Blackpool’ B&B. Also it was further out of town than I thought. Equally, the only restaurant on site was a faux hamburger joint. I stay at IBIS hotels often, and IBIS Ouisterham regularly. Coutances was the worst ever."

"There was a hurricane this day, not VVF's fault indeed. Quite a few things might have gone better though : We arrived at 4:15pm and the reception was supposed to be closed. Fortunately, someone (friendly) was there to help. However, the room was not ready until after 5pm.
