Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is new and clean, strategically located, surrounded by many good traditional restaurants. Many coffee shops, bakeries, convenient stores. The above establishment are quite important for new comers who don't want to spend their budget on restaurants inside the hotel, which are normally expensive.
Stayed in the family suite for 3 nights in October. Room was suitably big, with a double bed and a traditional Korea bedding in a separate ondol room. It was clean and comfortable, and the reception staff was friendly and very willing to help with our queries (one even helped to configure our gps when we had trouble with it).
Location was great; just directly across from the water, so if you want an ocean view make sure to request for it. There's also a convenience store on the first level of the hotel and many cafés and restaurants around as well. There's a hypermart nearby too and I believe that there's a shopping strip within walking distance too. Oh and it's relatively near the airport, about 10 mins cab ride and costs around ₩5000.
All in all, would definitely stay at this hotel again if I'm back in Jeju next time.
The hotel was very good value for the money--much beter than average hotels in the area. It is one of the few more upscale hotels in Jeju city--most are in the south but the south lacks the fun of the city.
the location is fantastic! It is a place you can rest without disturbance and also a place where you can shop till you drop if you want to all within 15 - 20 minutes walk. So you need not worry about transport. Staff speaks pretty good english and are very helpful. Will recommend to anyone be it family or individual!

"A great hotel off the main strip of downtown Jeju"
We booked our reservaton within a week out from our weekend getaway to Jeju, and there were only 2 options available: 1. the Ramada (slightly cheaper, north side of the island), and 2. the Baume Couture. We were curious about resorts near the southern end of the island, but we decided to go with the Baume Couture. Just having returned from the trip, we are happy to say that we were very lucky to have stumbled upon this pleasant hotel. Some might approach unfamiliar Korean hotels with great skepticism, but the Baume Couture is nothing to be afraid of. It was extremely clean, the room amenities were very comfortable (bathroom shower separate from bathroom tub; mini bar plentiful with cold drinks), complimentary bottled water (2 per day), continental breakfast included with your stay at the hotel restaurant, and service was world class. Parking is always a concern for us in Korea, but that wasn't an issue here. Although not immediately revealing, valet parking is available. Just park the car in the front hotel parking lot (a little small), give the keys to the front desk, and they'll take care of the rest. The hotel is located just off the end of the main strip, so if you're into the local culture scene, then you're easily within walking distance of that. There are plenty of convenience stores nearby. If you have a rental car, you can drive to the other end of the island within 30-40 minutes. An English GPS navigation system helped us a lot with the driving! Had fun!
I have stayed in this hotel before and not had such a good room as this last time in 2010 August. This time was great. Always ask for a room with an outside view as the courtyard view is rather gloomy. Recently redone rooms are very nice and very good value. Concierge service is excellent and tips are not expected.
