There were only two small downsides: there is an electric charge point for EV's, but it obviously isn't used much and Lisa wasn't sure how to make it work. We managed about an hour's charge and had to go and find a charging point in town and sit in the car while that happened. It would have been perfect if...

"Very friendly and efficient staff during our visit. The room was comfortable but not warm despite the air con/heater. The hot buffet breakfast wasn’t great but are they ever? Eggs cooked to order were perfect though. The food at dinner was pretty good and well cooked but the menu was quite limited. The menu size matched the hotel size really and overall we had no complaints. Would definitely stay there again."

"Fabulous stay in a lovely lodge within the grounds of the Cathedral! Originally built for visiting priests about 20 years ago, and then opened to the general public. The rooms are lovely, quiet and comfortable. Exceptionally clean. Service was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is included and table service and delicious. Value is excellent. I wished we'd stayed longer!"
