If u want to relax in cabo Grand Solmar is the resort for you. It is 30 minutes away from the airport, 15 minutes walk to marina, and steps away to the ocean. It has 5 pools with 2 infinity pools overlooking the ocean. The services is great and the staffs are nice. All inclusive plan is worth the price. The only drawback is the construction going on around the resort but it doesn't bother the guests.
We stayed for one week and our only complaint was that our room was quite far from lobby and entrance. I didn't mind the walk, which is up and down hills, because I enjoy exercising, but for elderly or out of shape people, they most likely will ask to move closer.

I went there with all my family and I highly recommend this hotel resort. We fell in love with this place. It will be on my list from now. We spent 10 days in paradise that is how I can describe our adventure.

The staff will make your stay the most pleasurable experience you have ever had. Our 1 bedroom suite was beautiful. The pool and landscape were immaculate. The poolside service with drinks and food made it a super vacation. Only a 15 minute walk to town.
Good location. Friendly staff except the resturant by the beach. They took 60 minutes to get our food and 30 min to get our check.
The older men at the bar by the small pool is the best!! Very funny guy! Very good service!!
The management and staff of this hotel provided remarkable service and exhibited incredible resilience and stellar attitudes in the wake of Hurricane Odile, which hit the area half-way through our vacation. Despite the devastation in Cabo San Lucas, our experience at this particular Villa group resort (Villa del Arco) exceeded reports we heard from all other "stranded" travellers we spoke with who stayed at other area resorts.
I was at this hotel when the hurricane hit dead on 9/14/2014! As horrific as that was, I was well taken care of by everyone on the hotel. No one was negative. They always were upbeat & positive. And even with limited resources, they always offered to do more. My birthday was 3 days after the hurricane and even though there was absolutely no where to go, the staff surprised me with a twinkie with a fireworks candle on it and two suckers!! And a beautiful serenade of 'Happy Birthday' in Spanish!! They were the Silver Lining through a traumatic situation.
