"The hotel is cozy and very pet friendly. The decor feels like a old German home. Bed was comfy and room was clean. My favorite part of the hotel was the restaurant downstairs. I have a pork and noodles which was AMAZING! My dog was even able to hang in the restaurant. Morning breakfast was very good. "

We were told we had to inform them of arriving after 8pm but this was not mentioned in our Hotels.com reservation. The following morning reception called us to offer us advice on the surrounding area as we did not have any time during a normal check in process. I thought that this was a very nice touch. "It was a good-sized room. I liked the layout of the room with the master room and separate sleeping area for the kids. The bathroom is good, it’s a stand in shower for those who prefer tubs. The breakfast spread was wonderful. It’s a a great location, we didn’t try the pool but I know it’s not something many hotels have in the area so that’s great. The rooms don’t have AC so that’s something to consider for the summer. It’s very close to a supermarket. I appreciated the free tickets to several...

"Lovely, small, clean hotel. Very friendly staff, breakfast was great. Location was perfect for us to celebrate Fasnacht in the town. Easy walk from the train station too."

"The room and hotel were surprisingly sleek and really well designed - nice to have air-conditioning and a balcony! On a street a block away from the main walkable part of town and a lovely river walk. One small complaint - no Kleenexes in the room! A problem with for someone with bad allergies."

"This is a charming and pleasant inn. It is clean and well maintained. We however found the bed mattresses to be saggy and lumpy. It’s important to know that the church clock across the road does ring out every quarter hour and the hour on the hour. Found the breakfast to be basic but good with some excellent bread and rolls.
