"Great place to get together with friends and or family for the weekend. Deluxe cabin for 6 was quite spacious. Had full kitchen and an outdoor balcony to enjoy meals. Would totally recommend it."

"The mattress in our booked room was saggy on one side we asked for a different room because of it and they were happy to accomodate excellent service great overnighter cheap meal tasty and fresh at RSL 👍👍👍near by "

"We had 3 nights here as as base for the Tomaree Cpastal Walk. Very comfortable, quiet and spacious. It's looking a bit old but it was clean and had a small kitchenette with sufficient equipment for our stay. A few minutes drive to Shoal Bay itself. Had some cheeky feathered visitors in the morning. Would definitely stay here again. "

"The wanderers retreat is a lovely spot. We will definitely be back. It was only a short drive to the town centre but felt like you were out in your own private rainforest. There was so much wildlife. A magpie family that visit several times a day, kookaburras and even a couple of cheeky possums. "

"We had booked 2 rooms for one night, and were going to book somewhere else after our day trip to Sydney. We liked the place so much we booked the second night there as well. The owners have done a superb job of renovating each room. They were clean, tidy and well sound proofed. The shower head was one of the highlights (you will see) and the bed was really comfortable. I cant fault this place. "
