"I did not like the area. I did not like that the doors were always closed, that there was a slight gap in the blinds so people could look into my room. It took the lady an hour to find my reservation. There was always loud music playing late at night and sometimes the owner’s kid would cry a lot."

Immediately upon arriving (after a long journey) I found there to be no hot water in the shower. This was not fixed for 24hrs. I also expected the staff to be more friendly/community focused however this was not the case. I was never invited to the whatsapp group even though I requested to be added and ultimately, will never stay at a selina again. Hostels provide a much better hostel...

"Norma, Miguel, Alexandra and Allan treated us like family. Nothing was a problem to them. The hotel is right in the heart of Foch Suare, so a little noisy at times but overall good. Miguel even drove us to the airport at 3am on our check out. Extremely reasonable prices! Thank you hotel Quito Antiguo for accommodating my family."

"Unusually they did not have a record of my reservation online so they wanted me to pay again which was difficult to figure out as no one there spoke English. He did make a call and settled things and overall the staff tried to be very helpful. They had a small garage for my car and the location was convenient for walking.
