"Before staying at this hotel I had read about how they had done work to improve it and effectively this was clear in the rooms. They were clean and the bathroom was in a new condition. The staff were extremely efficient and helpful. However there are a couple of areas that could still use improvement. The mattress was thin and thus hard as I was you feel the support underneath. As we're the pillows. So not the best night's sleep. Also, as it is a motel type of hotel, the outside light...

"All fresh new rooms and spotlessly clean. Staff were super friendly & helpful. Breakfast it just a small affair but the world famous (if you're a motorbike nut) Super Sausage Cafe, is only 1/2 a mile up the road and is superb. The food in the hotel is otherwise excellent."

"Booked no hassle,plenty of parking.staff very friendly also the pub regulars. Food excellent also quality of ale very good. Rooms a bit tired needs updating but it is a good old fashioned very friendly pub so please dont change."

"Overall the house was comfortable and cosy. The only drawback was that we did not find any extra pillows and bedrooms have no lampshades. The location was excellent and only around 25 mins walk to the town centre. Tasco is only 10 mins walk away and Abington Park around 15mins walk. Other shops are also within walking distance. The host was always reachable and even allowed us to keep the suitcases in the house after check out at 11am since the taxi came for us later. Will definitely recommend. "
