"The best views in town"
The hotel is situated on top of the hill. You can park below, they will tell you how to park at there sister hotel. The terraces from the rooms over look the valley and river and to the sides the Church. It is stunningly beautiful and a perfect place for a rest after a long drive. There are markets near by and shops. The town is a meandering jumble of streets that are so enjoyable. The hotel staff served a lovely eggs to order breakfast and were very helpful with suggestions for where to have dinner in town. All the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The rooms are smallish but big enough for 2 and the bathroom is very big with a walk in shower that was great. We couldn't have been happier other than to stay longer. Our family would go back there again and again.

Pocket Guide: Cadiz Arcos de la Frontera 2 stars Hotels

In a spectacular position high in the hills, this is the finest of all Andalusia’s ipueblos blancos/i (white villages). Its whitewashed labyrinthine old town climbs up and cascades back down the ridgeline. The main plaza is occupied by the town hall, two striking churches built on Arab fortresses, and an historic parador. One side of the square opens to a sweeping view over open countryside and a river gorge.
