"While we ultimately enjoyed our stay at a two-bedroom cottage, we were upset that the additional charge for bed linens and towels was not transparent at the time of booking. We travel on a budget and did not expect an extra charge on top of the rate for the night. They charge 140kr per person for bed linens and towels. You will get an email about this AFTER you make a reservation. There is also a charge for cleaning, which is quite high, but we found this easy to avoid if you agree to tidy up...

"Wi-fi didn't work. Shower was a dribble of water. Outside seating area poorly maintained with weeds growing between paving stones. Breakfast was very ordinary. The most expensive of the 4 hotels I stayed at in Sweden but by far the worst, with a general sense of lack of care or effort in most areas."

Parking was a disaster. They lack control of which car is parked where. We had cars parked on handicapped spots, on charging without charging, took 2 spots with 1 car and other places that they shouldn't. 9 out of 10 car that didn't follow the customs were Danish or Swedish. "I stayed for a week as I was visiting a relative. Breakfast and dinner are available which is perfect. I really hate hunting for food. The staff -reception and restaurant - were friendly and incredibly helpful. The hotel is affordable. My only worry is they are doing a huge amount of renovations (which I did not hear) which will probably raise the room rate to an amount I cannot afford again. I can’t imagine what they would be doing to improve the hotel. I thought it was perfect and it’s not...
