Tenby is protected by theembrace of its 13th century medieval stone walls. The entrance to the old townis guarded by the famous, perfectly preserved five arches gate. The town itselfwraps itself around a hilltop, providing stunning views of the sandyPembrokeshire coastline and bustling harbour below.

Tenby boasts threegorgeous beaches, each with their own unique character. They all face differentdirections, so you will always be able to find sun, shade or shelter, and canenjoy the views no matter what the weather.

Walk along Tenby’s SouthBeach towards Giltar Point and the start of the PembrokeshireCoastal Path. From here, you will see fabulous views of CaldeyIsland.

Go to Castle Beach at low tide and walk out to St.Catherine’s Island to explore the many rock pools around the cliffs. CastleBeach has been awarded both the Blue Flag 2014 and the Seaside award forexcellent water quality, making it a great beach for swimming, canoeing andsurfing.

Head up to one of the restaurants near the TudorMerchants Houses or Tudor Square and dine in an old medieval building for atruly unique experience.

Activities in Tenby

Tenby boasts twobeautiful golf courses and offers a range of water sport activities, includingwater skiing and kayaking. Motor boats can be hired to explore the many cavesfound around the mainland or the neighbouring islands and mackerel fishing tripscan be booked at the harbour.

For some extra action, head to Battlefield LIVE! inLlanteg, eight miles east, for some laser warfare to be enjoyed by allages.

Lovely Tenby hotel in the perfect location
"The hotel has recently had a renovation and oh my what a result. The room we had was a cosy sea view room. It had everything we needed and more. It was 27C the day we stayed so the air-con was very welcomed indeed! I highly recommend this hotel."
