Andenes has its own airport with direct connections to larger cities in North Norway, and Oslo, which has an international airport. Ferry connections run between Andenes and Senja in summer. Hiring a car is worthwhile here due to the vast distances, and will give you the freedom to explore the local area at your own pace.
