I had never stayed at a Motel 6 before, and I was not prepared for what we experienced at this property. Overall, the hotel felt unfinished, poorly maintained, and very cheaply constructed. The carpet throughout the stairways and hallways was stained and clearly needed to be vacuumed, while the rooms had very cheap laminate flooring and generally felt like they had been thrown together with little attention to quality or detail. I could have overlooked the overall condition and poor construction of the property, but the cleanliness of the bathroom was much harder to ignore. When we walked in, there was an unpleasant odor. There were dried urine droplets on the outside of the toilet bowl, and the floor surrounding the toilet also appeared very dirty. The beds appeared to be clean overall; however, I found long black hairs in each of the beds, as well as on one of the towels we used. After already seeing the condition of the bathroom, this made me seriously question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned before our arrival. Needless to say, it was not a restful night’s sleep. I understand that you get what you pay for, and I certainly wasn’t expecting luxury at this price point, but I do expect a hotel room to be clean. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not recommend this property.

Super cute mini getaway resort! The place was tucked away in a residential area and something you wouldn't know about if you passed it on the street. Ended up doing a Perfect Day Spa package a few hours before checking into the resort. The check-in was all done online where you got a code. The design of this place is really thought out! You can tell ever space was designed with a purpose in it's landscape and use. The flow of the building and resort was really easy to navigate. Being here truly made you feel like you were unplugged from society. Note the kitchen area is a simple mircowave and mini fridge. No food (besides snacks) were available. So it does require you to drive around downtown for an actual meal. The employees were all super sweet and something I'd be back for!
