Room was clean staff in the bar not sure on what to do about drinks only one lift working all the time we was there and that lift went down a few times not well maintained

A nice clean hotel with large rooms. My only complaints would be the £10 charge to use the swimming pool (yes, it included the sauna and steam room but I only wanted to swim). Also the reception desk was not staffed when we tried to check out just after 0800hrs on the Sunday morning.

We find this hotel to be friendly efficient with staff that are genuinely helpful and keen to provide a good service. For us it is ideal position to meet with friends and family. Will be booking again.

The rooms are very warm and carpet was torn in a few places. The toilet lush was hanging off the unit. Staff were pleasant but more needed on desk at check in time. Was convenient for what we needed

I would highly recommend this place. The location is excellent. It’s a quiet neighborhood, yet everything is within walking distance. You don’t compromise living space for location. The unit is large, well equipped and very well maintained. Being on the third floor allows you to open windows for a nice breeze which is great in the summer. Secured off-street parking is a huge plus. I’m hard pressed to find any shortcomings. There was only one wine glass in the kitchen which was a bit odd. I guess sharing a wine glass with my wife was the most inconvenient part of the stay. So, I will give it 4.95 out of 5 stars.

I booked 2 nights through a third party. There were communications issues, with payment and breakfast. We arrived late to open assigned room with people in it twice. Someone opened our room with their assigned keys our 2nd day. Staff was apologetic, but these issues should never happen. Thats said, we liked this hotel for its history, character and charm. Its like a maze in there! Breakfast was good. I hope they solve these issues. I would booke here again.
