I was disappointed about how much they charge everyday for food, towels, drinks, etc. The food was terrible.

My stay at Goldwynn Hotel in Nassau, Bahamas was nothing short of exceptional—truly a five-star experience from start to finish. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed with warm smiles and a glass of complimentary champagne, setting the tone for a relaxing and luxurious stay. A special thank you to the incredible front desk team, Latisha and Achantae. They went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our trip was perfect—no request was ever too small. Their attention and care made all the difference. They even helped us arrange an unforgettable private 4-hour boat charter, where we explored some of the Bahamas’ best sights, including Pig Island, snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, and enjoying a floating bar. It was easily one of the highlights of our trip. The hotel itself is pristine. The rooms are spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The pool is perfectly heated to 88 degrees, making it ideal for a relaxing swim at any time of day. The food is also top-tier—fresh, flavorful, and consistently high quality. If you’re looking for peace, quiet, and truly outstanding customer service, do not waste your time searching for another hotel. Goldwynn is the place to be. I will absolutely be returning in the near future and already look forward to my next relaxing stay.

This was my second experience at Baha Mar and possibly last. Overall It was a good stay with some very noticeable issues. First night our bed frame was rocky which provided for an unrestful night but was fixed the next day. That should have been noticed when the room was being prepared. This time I noticed unwarranted attitudes in a couple of ur eateries like pizza lab and Starbucks by the staff. Some of the staff displayed attitudes that really soured the mood. They acted as if they had a problem working or something just uncalled for. In the pizza lab they overlooked our pizza order and then tried to lie to the manager about what actually happened. However the manager apologized and offered the pizza for free. Also there were attitudes in the little convenient store next to Starbucks. When in the waterfall swim up bar pool area there was a noticeable difference in treatment by one server as far as service between people of color like myself and the white customers. Almost like we didn’t exist really discouraging. Your room towels could be a little softer instead of abrasive to the skin. Baha Mar is a five star resort but didn’t quite feel as such this go round. Also this new service fee that’s added I guess is to assure tips for the servers but in some cases the lack of good customer service showed. I had a great first experience and went back to the states bragging about how great of an experience. But this time Im not sure what to say.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) – Hidden Gem with Amazing Views & Hosts We had an awesome stay at A Stone's Throw Away—this place is a true hidden gem. The location is perfect—close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. The views are absolutely incredible, especially overlooking the ocean—great spot to sit, unwind, and just take it all in. What really made the stay stand out was the staff. Shan, Treasure, Chris, and John were all amazing—super friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. They genuinely made us feel at home and made the trip even better. THANK YOU! Everything was clean, comfortable, and easy, and we had zero issues during the stay. It was exactly what we were looking for. The Indian restaurant on site was excellent as well. I had the Curry chicken and rice. My wife had the Penne pasta chicken. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nassau.

It’s such a quiet little piece of paradise! We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and loved the view from our room!

Room was clean, however we booked the cove and multiple maintenances were being done on the property. Spa was not available, the original adult pool was not available, loud drilling noises on the building balcony was being done early in the morning.

Property was nice and well maintained. Food was very expensive.

Very well appointed condo. Views are incredible. Beach area is small but lovely. Infinity pool was great and perfectly heated. Wonderful pickleball and paddle court that’s surrounded by beautiful foliage and open 24hrs. Staff was helpful and accommodating of our needs for a late checkout.

Nice place, room, good staff service for the most part. SUPER expensive though so be prepared to spend about an extra $500/day for 2 people to eat and drink. Couldn’t have a meal for less than $100. Some great food but overall it was just ok.
