The South Yoga Holidays

I had a suite with a sitting room. Ideal for one person wanting more space. I was on floor 7 which was generally peaceful although the air conditioning machine in a cupboard occasionally made a racket. The sofa was a pullout but there was no door to the bedroom. This could affect groups. I found the restaurant very over-priced and very unhelpful. They were poor at offering eg more salmon with my eggs Benedict, suggesting I get a side dish the waiter described as too large. Also no juices. This has to be bought at a different kiosk and carried to the breakfast table. The coffee is okaaaay but given the price should be a bit more European. Service charge is included in my bill yet I’m guilt-tripped to add more. An affliction across all America. Stop that right now: the employer should pay his employees appropriately and the client should pay the provider. (I appreciate this is not only the fault of Carillon hôtel but they could at least tilt int he right direction.)

Great property and centrally located. The restaurant is amazing!

We had to wait a long time for our room. I feel like the lady was overlooking us. She stood there holding a conversation with her employee while I waited until they were finished. I annoy myself sometimes for being so polite. The other staff were 💯 marvelous and very attentive.
