Pris og kvalitet er ikke sammenhængende. Lille hotel, der mangler vedligeholdelse og god rengøring. OK seng, som til gengæld fylder hele værelset. Ungt personale, venlige - placeret i den mindste reception som var en pc og et skrivebord. Meget stor og livlig bar (hvor også morgenmad kunne indtages). Super beliggenhed i et livligt kvarter.

The hotel hosts wedding receptions in the restaurant, complete with a DJ, which we could hear from our room, and which kept us awake until 1am. Then the next night they had a ceilidh which kept us awake until after midnight. They need to decide if they are a hotel or a nightclub/entertainment venue, because they do a terrible job of being both at once. I would not stay here again.

The apartment was beautifully decorated and clean and well appointed, however the shower room extractor fan wouldn’t work and we reported it and wasn’t fixed during our stay so the apartment steamed up. There was also no plug for the bath so we couldn’t use that. The sink was very small too so wet the floor when you used it. Just small silly things that could’ve been fixed easily enough. All in all though a beautiful apartment and very well situated. Thank you 🙏

The Dunalastair was a pleasant surprise at the end of a long and winding road, and I mean that literally! We booked online thinking it would shorten our ride to Edinburgh from Loch Ness because the Expedia website said it was in Pitlochry, but it’s actually 20 miles away from Pitlochry! Since it was a one-night stay and rainy we weren’t able to enjoy all of the property, but the rooms were spacious and modern, the restaurant featured excellent food and service, and the front desk staff was attentive. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. Maybe next time?

This is a great place to stay if you’re looking for a quiet neighborhood without the mobs of tourists. The building is beautiful and quite sprawling. I was on the 2nd floor and had incredible views of Dean village. On clear days you can see quite far beyond the city into the mountains and sea. My room was spacious and well stocked with coffee, espresso, tea, dishes, flatware, etc. I had control over the heat which i loved. The bed was quite comfortable and the furniture was quite nice. The bathroom was incredible… Large tub (I’m 6’) and large shower with a towel heater and radiator for optional heat. The staff was as professional as i expected. Very accommodating and helpful. If you have an issue, i have no doubt they will work diligently to solve it. House keeping was top notch. There’s a honesty shop in the lobby thank god. They have it fully stocked with whites and reds, cokes, seltzer, etc. Snacks abound. The lounges are very comfortable. Overall this was an amazing experience. I will 100% stay here again when in Edinburgh. Thank you for a wonderful experience! Hapimag was the highlight of my trip.

The woman working during the day was lovely and we appreciated being able to leave our bags before check in. However, the man who worked in the evenings was not as lovely and even during check in it felt like we were inconveniencing him by wanting to check in. Our second day the hot water in the sink stopped working. Not, was running cold, stopped running altogether. They said that they had fixed it but it wasn't fixed for the rest of our stay. There was laundry in our room, however the washing machine left the clothes so wet that when we put them in the dryer, it set the smoke alarm off from all the steam. The man who worked in the evenings came up, shoved his way into the room, yelling about the smoke alarm. Obviously, he needs to come in and check what's going on, we absolutely get that. Having him berate us for something that wasn't our fault wasn't great though. Once he realized what had caused it, he spent more time yelling that he had to come in, it was the law. Which, again, obviously that's fine, just don't need to have his defence yelled at us repeatedly. Also the floors were so dirty. My socks were so dark just from walking around in the room. Great location though.
