Very convenient for Airport as Tram 2 stops, and hotel stop just 100 meters walk. Easy check-in, Pool was handy as 34C when we stayed. Lifts good, Aircon worked (just)but controls a bit weird. Kitchenet was handy with pod coffee machine, fridge, microwave and hob, plus all the crockery you will need. A nice big room and bed, with blackout curtains. All in all, a very pleasant 5 nights, especially after hot days walking in the city and amazing waterfront. Though you need your wits, with some narrow pavements and poorly marked bike lanes. My wife lost a pair of prescription designer sunglasses, we thought in the city after a boozy (Margeaux for 40 Euro!) dinner in one of the wonderful alfresco squares (doom and gloom) The room cleaner found them, they sent email and posted them to us at cost postage fee DHL. So pleased as £££! to replace. Tram,(line A) buy a week one, bargain at 29 euro unlimited hop on off trips. We usually hire a car(saved £300 and hassle), but thought as Bordeaux is a cars not wanted city, let's give it a go. We really enjoyed it, though 40 mins into city and many stops, it was never that busy and no trouble and a nice change from driving, traveling with the locals and seeing the city go by.. Tram 2 Stops from hotel to a giant Carrefour and shopping Centre, a must visit, its vast, and amazing wine selection.

We arrived early afternoon to the hotel. Already at the parking we was greeted by staff who took care of our luggage. We became upgrade to a suite with a terrace. Due to the nice, relaxed surroundings at the hotel decided to stay at the hotel to enjoy the afternoon.l Ĺĺlllllllllllllĺ

Good location within walking distance to Versailles

This truly was a bucket-list hotel stay for me, and the setting is every bit as beautiful as I had imagined. I also had a lovely server during my stay who was warm and attentive. That said, I did encounter a few hiccups that left me somewhat disappointed, particularly given the price point and expectations that come with a stay like this. I’m not sure whether some of the issues were related to the larger private event happening during my stay, or simply the experience of traveling solo, but the service overall felt less attentive than I expected. The day before my arrival, I was informed that the wine tour I had scheduled on the property had been cancelled. I was offered the only remaining availability later in the evening on the day I was checking out, which didn’t work with my schedule. What was disappointing was that there wasn’t much effort to help arrange an alternative wine experience, despite the hotel being in such an incredible wine region. There were also a few smaller things throughout the stay that added up. At the pool, despite ordering before several other guests, at least 3 couples who arrived after me were served first. Some amenities were also unavailable because of the private event, and the sauna wasn’t working. The indoor pool area in particular felt like it could use some repairs. None of these things individually would have been a major issue, but because this was a bucket-list stay for me, I was a little bummed with the overall experience.

Room was clean, though shower had a few stains. One night we were awoken every hour by screaming students and weren’t able to get any sleep. About a 10 min uber into the centre, which was good. Hotel reception staff not very chatty.

A fantastic apartment - they have thought of everything and anticipated all your needs. Very comfortable - we loved it!
