Location was great with a short walk along a historical promenade to the Casino and town. It’s about 20 minutes to the train station on foot. The rooms include everything you could need or want and even the rooms without views offer a sea view. The dining is five star, with delicious complimentary canapes with cocktails. If you’re seeking a stunning hotel with sea views, a good size pool, relaxed vibe and delicious food and drinks, Miramare is for you.

The features of this hotel are beautiful. It’s kept the original lift - although it was broken when we left. Its structure and staircase were kept and I loved the fact it hasn’t been ruined. However having said that it is in desperate need of a slight facelift. Our bathroom floor was stained pink and rusty. Nothing a good toothbrush and vinegar couldn’t fix. The skirting and the general fixtures needed a little tlc and the fact it only had 1 plug socket in the entire room was … hard! Overall the appearance was lovely and with it being somewhat centrally located the perks overlook its faults.

Great place that you won't regret. I will definitely come back if I return to Nice. My only suggestion for the place is that they need to be stricter with kids running around the property. There was a family that had multiple rooms and kids and they would allow the kids to run back and fourth around the rooms at 7 AM. Kids need to run but that early the staff need to step up.
