Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay at the British Colonial for just over 1 week in Nassau. The hotel itself was appealing and well-furnished with spacious rooms, the staff were friendly and helpful (they helped me find a lost device at one point), and we enjoyed the pool and on-property restaurant and bar. The location is also ideal for going on tours and boat trips to the other islands. We did encounter some problems during our trip, but they had nothing to do with the hotel and were more about the Bahamas as a whole (e.g., very high prices, lack of transportation / ride-sharing, occasional power outages, etc.). But, again, these were all beyond the control of the hotel staff. If you're staying in Nassau and want a good, reasonably priced hotel in a central location, I would recommend the British Colonial.

The property is certainly well located and is one of the three best located resorts on Harbor Island. However, the Pink Sands is tired and needs attention to deferred maintenance along with some wholesale capital improvements. The employees were helpful and attentive but they could use some training as to decorum and attention to details. Overall, the experience there was a disappointment because we were paying such a high price and frustrated by endless issues. Willing but shoddy service. Bad food. Beach covered with seaweed while the adjacent resorts removed seaweed. I could go on but you get the picture. We could have gone to the Coral Sands or the Dunmore and paid a little more and had a much more fulfilling experience. Clearly, the ownership of the Pink Sands needs to "bite the bullet" and make a wholesale commitment ($$$) to a better overall customer experience or it will fade off into oblivion.

There was nothing I liked my room was dirty. I never had washcloths the whole time. I stood there. I never had a TV clicker. My wristband always was dead. Every time I came home from my day and my air conditioner did not work.

Recently returned from 6 days at the Atlantis. (Family of 3- 2 adults and 1 child (12)) We had an amazing experience! We stayed at The Cove and opted for the club level- which was well worth it for us! (Note- the club lounge does not allow kids under 12- staff is strict about this policy) Club includes a full breakfast in the morning and small bites after. Later there is a happy hour and a dessert bar. This helped us not always go out. (However, the club concierge was great!) The room was spacious for 3 of us. The view from the room was amazing! Apparently there was construction on a pool and some balconies during our stay- both of which we could see from our room- but we could barely hear anything. The Cove was conveniently located. We walked to dolphin cove, the water park, and most of the other hotels. Otherwise- there was a shuttle every few minutes. Everyone we encountered was beyond friendly. We’ll definitely be back!

All really good, the only issue is people trying to sell scams in the hotel & they can be quite bullish!

Wanted to try a different all inclusive resort and it was not the best or worst, but having to shuttle to Cabbage Beach was tiring; beds were not bad, drinks were better at nightly dinners and omelet station cook was moody if you TOUCHED her condiment sign so do not correct her condiment order lol, some people do not appreciate your kindness. Buffet on last day of stay had lamb chops & grilled shrimp for lunch which was a good ending to our stay. 7 out of 10 for us; not having a view on the beach is what was missing…

Lost power for 3 hours first day. Fire alarm evacuations on 21 June at 0545 for faulty electrical issue and tons of mosquitoes in the room

La playa necesita de más limpieza en cuanto a piedras y sargazo . Tienen que solucionar el tema de las abejas , mejorar la calidad de las habitaciones así como los productos de higiene ,los café por dios mejorarlos.El personal bien atento y sociable fue de lo que más me gustó

Hookers at the pool and pool restaurants hitting on married men all day, reported to staff at done desk and they seemed to know who they are and not care at all. Reef guests have no access to the reef adult pool, only cove guests have access, they claim it’s on the website and it’s NOT!! Total trip was over 5k and not worth one penny! The only thing worth a damn was Nobu! Never again will I stay at that place or any branch of the Atlantis!! Staff was rude and didn’t care if you needed any help.
