Everything was just okay..with the exception of a newly opened fine dining restaurants called tuubuk....service is they sell cigars ....unfortunately the staff and amenities are geared towards cruises and busses...catering for en mass ...they lack the ability to provide individual attention especially when travelli g during summer and at the highest rates !!!! I suspect you get better attention to detail when youre there by yourself in winter ....and at the cheaper rates ...go figure !!!!

The listing was a bit misleading. I assumed pool access was a perk of staying in the hotel - it was not. It actually was an additional charge to access the pool. Additionally the annex building is across the parking lot from the main building. When checking in I asked about changing rooms in which I would have been charged an addition $145 usd per night. I declined went to the annex building and there was a foul sewage odor. After dragging my luggage back across the lot, the front desk acknowledged the smell and were quick to offer to move rooms without a charge. This hotel seems to advertise a luxury experience, but it does not feel like luxary.

Excellent hotel. Smart, quiet, modern room with comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast. Easy short walk (15-20 minutes) to centre of Torshavn and harbour, or there are frequent free public buses stopping 1 minute from the hotel. Efficient and helpful staff on reception.
