We stayed in room 209. Good view and comfy bed so had a descent sleep. Bedroom was ok but booked aa a superior room which it is not. Wardrobe doors where dodgy and didnt slide. Bathroom had quite a lot of mould spots on ceiling and the silicon between the bath and tiling also had black mould. Thankfully had brought our own shampoo and shower wash As Shampoo bottle on the wall in the shower area empty and the holder for a body wash didnt even have a bottle in place. The hallways to this section of the hotel are a bit grubby looking and offputting. Whereas bar area and restaurant where nice enough. Good breakfast

Totally impressed by the property and will absolutely tell everybody to stay here if they’re going to Inverness. We were so close to everything and wonderful food wonderful experiences. The room was wonderful. The building was great.

the location was perfect for exploring Inverness, easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping, music spots, and the museum, and right on the river to access the walking paths to the islands and Botanic garden. Breakfast buffet was well supplied, the brewery/distillery/bar was inviting and comfortable, the bartenders were helpful and knowledgeable. it was interesting to take the tour and learn about how you start up a whisky distillery. Room was very comfortable and large, with a large bathroom with a good shower. We would definitely recommend staying here when in Inverness.

We stayed in lodge 1, it is in serious need of some tlc and updating. The carpets, sofas should have been upgraded years ago, alongside the kitchen. Just a tired looking lodge now which is disappointing given the fantastic location. The pool is fab, and the Italian restaurant was lovely!

Gorgeous property with excellent bar and restaurant. Beautiful grounds. Friendly staff. Our room seemed quite dated though, especially the bathroom, and there was a plumbing issue with our shower cutting on and off while we were using it.

The hotel is a converted manor house with a number of extensions including a spa building with rooms above. The executive rooms in spa building are modern but dated and look like any 3 star chain hotel. The food in the pub was good as was the breakfast. The staff were helful and it was convenient to have ev charging onsite.
