The hotel was clean, staff was helpful.. Check in was good. However, it was on a busy roundabout with hundreds of trucks daily. As someone from North America relying on air conditioning, the room was dreadfully hot. As one could not always keep the windows open because of street traffic it made for unpleasant sleeping. We were there for 6 nights. If coming in the summer, Hamburg is getting hotter. Pick a place with AC if you are used to it. I know many Europeans did not mind as our hotel was full of them..

This is a comfortable, good big hotel close to a U bahn stop. There is a great buffet breakfast. Staff were polite and helpful. Would stay here again.
The St Georg district with many good options for eating is close by.
Hbf is 10 minutes walk away along a very busy street - lots of shops and people. Many street people near the station - we didn't feel unsafe, but keep your guard! Hotel is opposite a big police station.

Welcoming stay at a renovated hotel. Friendly staff and large newly appointed room with balcony and sea view across the street. Very close to Niendorf harbour. Overall excellent stay and would certainly come again.

The staff were extremely helpful and engaging at all times. The so-called gym is a room with four pieces of equipment and limited dumbbells (max weight 10 kg). There is no spa as advertised but the saunas and steam plus rest area were excellent. It's a pity that there is no outdoor seating other than a noisy smoking area.
