Rooms very nice but very dark , lighting extremely poor.

As a lifelong fan from the states, I couldn’t have gotten luckier when choosing a place to stay for my first match experience at Anfield. Ali was very kind and welcoming as soon as I got there and throughout my stay. Next time I’ll have to bring the miss and my brothers. YNWA!

Staff were amazing and helpful, very kind and allowed me to upgrade to a suite as I was there for a special occasion. The hotel itself is beautiful and I love the decor however a downside was no room service and their QR code has not been updated to the new downstairs restaurant TYGA. Also housekeeping did not make the bed during my stay of 3 nights (1 day I put a do not disturb sign) which isn’t what I’m used to. Overall a good experience but there could be some things made better.

The food here is the absolute highlight. Incredible menu and everything we ate was as good as anything we could get in a top class restaurant. We’ll be back, for longer next time to try more of the menu.

Nice enough hotel. Would not rate as 5 star as rooms a bit dated. Service a little slow in bar yet they still add 10% service charge to your drinks bill even when you stand at bar waiting for some time to be served. Loved Liverpool but would not stay here again

I love this hotel!! It's my go too with the wife. We don't even live that far from Manchester!!

There is nothing wrong with this hotel but it is not a 5 star hotel in terms of service and quality. The room is no better than a premier inn plus room. The breakfast service is poor, you have to ask several times and several staff for things. Check in was slow and laboured with staff seeming to prioritise those wandering around in dressing gowns for the spa!

Staff were lovely. The lovely Charlotte, following my call, had already made the necessary arrangements for our large party and reassured me that all would be great for our special visit. However, the hotel needs a full refurbishment. It looks tired and in dire need need of improvement. The bathroom had mould on the floor and walls in some of our rooms. The tap was missing off the jetted tub. The cold tap in the basin in our bathroom was dribbling only and difficult to use. There isn’t an extractor in the bathroom and that means all surfaces and wall areas, including the wooden door, was dripping wet from the steam. The bathroom bin pedal was broken and there were no bins in the room. Four of us were booked for each room and there were only two bath sheets and two bath towels but also only one hand towel for sharing. The room had one wardrobe which could not be closed. The lighting in the room was poor and though we had mirrors, due to the poor lighting we could not possible us the mirrors for make up. The heating did not work in at least two of the rooms so some people ended up wearing their coat in bed. The night experience was no better. Bars immediately outside the hotel played the music until 6am and that meant there was no peace at all. The music stopped and then there were noise from the crowds getting ready to be collected by taxis. Then the clean up began. All in all, while the staff were lovely, the whole experience from start to finish was very poor indeed.

The host was absolutely fantastic and I couldn’t have asked for any more. Apartment was well equipped and considering being in the middle of all the bars and clubs was very well sound insulated. I would recommend to family’s that this is in the middle of a busy nightlife part of Liverpool so may not be suitable for young children. But workers/couples or friends it’s absolutely ideal for being in the centre. Thank you so much :) Sam
