Very Good & Clean Hotel... Value For Money 9/10

Wifi was not working in the room in which I was staying. The mattress had sagged & was impossible to sleep on. It is a very good property but maintenance & attention to details is clearly lacking.

Rooms were clean, and staff was super helpful. We paid for the suite, and it was clean but smelled like cigarette smoke which was too strong. The TV is on the other side of the bed so you cannot watch tv in bed if you wanted to. There were food crumbs under the curtains. And cigarette butts in the bathroom bowl when we got the room. The breakfast was too busy, too much wait time (we waited 15mins) and gave up. We went downstairs to find someone to complain but the staff at check in had a long queue. I am sure they would have helped out in addressing the concerns but then I just got too sick to even get out of bed.

This was my first stay at The Orchid, and the breakfast was a big part of why I booked. It lived up to its reputation. Location: The hotel is very close to Mumbai's international airport, which makes arriving and departing easy. It's a great pick for travelers on a tight schedule. The breakfast: This is where The Orchid truly shines. Guests choose between two spreads. The South Indian buffet on the lobby level has twenty-one hot dishes, and the American spread on level 1 feels endless, with live omelet and dosa stations. The culinary team deserves full credit for making breakfast the highlight of my stay. The staff: Several team members at the hotel's shop and South Indian restaurant went above and beyond. They were warm, attentive, and made a real difference. The gift shop was a lovely added touch. Room for improvement: The rooms didn't match the standard of the restaurants. My bathroom had visible mold and rust, and the room felt dated overall. A refresh would bring the rooms up to the level of the food and service. Overall: For the location, the outstanding breakfast, and a staff that clearly cares, I'd happily return, and I hope the rooms get the attention they deserve.

Great place & location
