It was great value. Clean and convenient. Food was delicious . People were friendly. A/C didn’t work well in one bedroom and we couldn’t get TV’s to connect to any streaming service and could not cast.

We visited here in 2009 and had the best experience ever, well 17 years later we hoped it would be much of the same. I can’t say our stay was horrible because it definitely was not. We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves, but it was quite a different experience this time around. A lot of restaurants closed on certain days, and even only being at 30% capacity we waited nearly 45 minutes at a restaurant the concierge made us reservations at, but they didn’t have it on the books. The seaweed made it impossible to even step foot on the beach. The clear blue water days are over, unfortunately. While we enjoyed our time, it just wasn’t what we remembered years ago. I’m not sure if they have gotten so big they are spreading themselves thin or if it truly is that they are so short staffed due to being 44% down on tourism. I don’t want be entirely negative of the resort - Kampai and Jade were our most favorite places to eat. Most of the service was excellent. Again, we can to relax after many stressful days at work, and that’s what we got.

Amazing staff. Amazing property. If you want absolute luxury and comfort this is your hotel. From the heated toilets with built in bidets to the amazing stone jacuzzis, from the fantastic hammocks to the pool lounge chairs and umbrellas, absolutely no expense was spared here. If you want an all inclusive with gourmet food and fantastic attentive service, look no further than Hotel Mousai.

This was my first time in Mexico and my first time staying at this hotel. We were here for a week and most of the service up until the final day was very good. We checked out in the morning but left our luggage with the concierge as our flight wasn’t until the evening, and we were given wristbands as temporary identification to pass the security point (which is, importantly, a very long walk up to the main lobby) for when we returned to the hotel. This was flawed in and of itself because it was a plain white paper wristband with no indication on it at all as to what it was actually for, or where we’d got them from, but we were told that once we showed ID, security would call the front desk/concierge to confirm and then we’d be let through. We went back to the hotel in a taxi and did as we were told: showed our wristbands, showed ID, and even gave them our checkout pass. Security then talked for a while on the phone to confirm, but understandably, the driver wasn’t keen on idling while we waited for the confirmation from security and left us there at the security checkpoint in humid 30 degree heat, surrounded by flies and insects. However, because we’d already waited nearly 10 minutes by the time the driver had left, Uber charged an additional 20+ pesos on top of the $150~ we’d already spent for the additional time the driver spent waiting. We then waited an additional 15-20 minutes for security to confirm our identity and send a car for us as, like I mentioned, the actual hot

Staff was amazing and welcoming. We stayed one night to kick off our honeymoon and it was a blast. Cenote was beautiful in the morning, also got to see a little more wildlife. Only thing I caution is what I feel is the obvious; there are multiple units on the property and at night your glass house turns into an aquarium if your lights are on, meaning it’s easier for others to peer in. We could see the unit next to us from our bathroom, but quickly got over any shyness. We were able to Uber to Playa del Carmen for dinner but had to find a taxi to get back. The Uber made us walk to the highway, taxi we reserved through the resort picked us up right upfront. Breakfast was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere.

We recently stayed at Moon Palace Nizuc and, overall, we had a good experience. The resort has a very peaceful and quiet atmosphere, which we really enjoyed. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The mini refrigerator was restocked daily, which was a nice touch. The food was delicious overall, and room service was one of our favorite parts of the stay. The only suggestion I have is for the international restaurant to offer a larger variety of breads. Also, keep in mind that most of the restaurants require reservations plan ahead. The staff was friendly, and provided great service throughout our stay. Even though the resort is all-inclusive, I highly recommend bringing plenty of dollar bills for tips. The staff works hard, and your generosity is expected n appreciated. One thing to be aware of is the resort relies heavily on its app. You use it for reservations and many other services. If you're not comfortable using apps, it can be challenging to navigate. The only downside for us was that there were frequent sales presentations and offers. Staff members regularly tried to sell additional packages, and we even received morning phone calls asking if we had reconsidered their offers. It became a little bothersome. Our kids absolutely loved visiting the Moon Palace Sunrise resort , game room. The property is huge, Unfortunately, There was a lot of algae, and the smell made it difficult to enjoy the beach. Over all it was a good experience.
