The convenience of the location was perfect , down the street from Petco park- which made the booking worth it . Unfortunately I was a little unimpressed that self checkout was not an option because we had to make our way down to the front desk to check out while carrying all of our belongings with our three year old. This would have also been easier if we could have made trips to put stuff in the car but because it is valet only we had to have our stuff with us. The express checkout should work in all the rooms

Check in was flawed. We had to wait for our room to be made ready. This was after the 4pm check in time. And then when we were given a room key, it turned out that there were people already in that room. We had to return to the front counter and again wait for another room.

Unfortunately, this hotel was a major disappointment. The room was dirty and not up to the standard you would expect for the price. The parking situation is also a complete joke rude staff, confusing, inconvenient, and frustrating. On top of that, make sure you carefully check what you actually booked versus what you were charged for. I would strongly recommend reviewing your reservation and final bill before leaving. Overall, this was not the experience I expected, and I would think twice before staying here again.

Beautiful secluded place with lots of amenities around. Excellent experience. Will be back every time I go to san Diego.
