9.6/10 Exceptional! (504 reviews)
Our stay at InterContinental Le Moana Bora Bora was an absolute dream and without a doubt one of the most unforgettable experiences of our lives.
Spending the night in an overwater bungalow at the very end of the pontoon felt like living in paradise. Waking up surrounded by the turquoise lagoon, with nothing but crystal-clear water and breathtaking views all around us, was simply magical.
Everything was perfect. The bungalow was beautiful, spacious, luxurious, and equipped with every comfort imaginable. Every detail made us feel like we were experiencing something truly special.
The staff were exceptional—warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. The level of service was outstanding, and every request was handled with genuine kindness and a smile.
Breakfast was delicious, with an amazing selection and an unforgettable view over the lagoon. Even the Wi-Fi was excellent and worked perfectly everywhere, including out on the overwater bungalow.
This is much more than a hotel stay—it's a dream come true. Every moment felt magical, and every sunset reminded us why Bora Bora is considered one of the most beautiful places on Earth. It is absolutely worth the journey and every euro spent. If you're looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, InterContinental Le Moana Bora Bora will exceed every expectation. We truly hope to come back one day.

Beautiful property especially over water bungalows. The staff were very attentive, helpful, friendly and gracious. Everyone from the breakfast staff to the dinner staff were so nice. The water sports team was so nice, one gentleman who competes in the outrigger team accompanied me on my 1st outrigger ride to show me the ropes.
The buffet breakfast and French restaurant were delicious. The pool, water sports, restaurants, reef rebuilds are amazing parts of this resort. I would definitely highly recommend this place and go back but after the construction is complete.
There was a lot of construction on the property, which was not mentioned prior on the Expedia website, which was disappointing. You will hear saws, drills and hammers in the distant. Also, construction teams will ride by your over the water bungalows around 8:15- 8:30am, during the day and 4:15-4:30pm. They try to stay a bit further out in distance vs the bungalows. I wished this was disclosed on Expedia’s website.
