This is a good hotel, but certainly not cheap.
Situated on Loch Lomond, makes it ideal for the views alone.
This is a large hotel, and while the staff were polite and helpful, it felt a little rushed and frantic at times and the intimacy a 5* hotel should provide was a little lost.
It feels like a US interpretation of how a 5* hotel should be and those don’t necessarily resonate with a British tourist.
I won’t lie, I was expecting a lot from this hotel, and I left feeling a little disappointed.

It was great for an overnight stay. I would recommend to anyone looking to stay close to train stations and a good night sleep - however no AC.
