Secure, spacious, quiet, friendly. Room not vacuumed, coffee not replenished, laundry not fresh, not ironed or folded properly. Room far too cold, unable to adjust the temperature, staff had to provide heater.

Hotel was nice (albeit very hot with no ac and warm temps) but I had an awful experience with the evening cook (man said he was a student, so hopefully not a full time employee). He insulted me by asking me if I was pregnant, something you never ask a woman unless you are very sure. I cancelled our reservation for 6 people to avoid him, as he was obviously making an insult about my weight.

Communication through the app wasn’t great especially when we could access the the front door.

We upgraded to a Superior room in the old traditional part of the hotel it was fabulous with amazing views

Had a few problems with check in but got all sorted - unfortunately spa was bottled avaialavle as went bust the day before Overall we stay stay in Oslo quite regularly and this is the best hotel amongst the 5stars!

Beautiful hotel with comfy bed. Staff very friendly and helpful always, the breakfast buffet was amazing!

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, but what really made our experience outstanding was the help we got from front desk team, especially from Tom and Danny. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their warm hospitality turned a good stay into a great one, and we’re so grateful for their help. The location of the hotel is outstanding—close to everything we wanted to see and do, which made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. On top of that, the breakfast was excellent, with plenty of delicious options to start the day right. We highly recommend this hotel not only for its facilities and location, but especially for the exceptional service at the front desk. We’ll definitely be back!
