Room as expected accept so hot! Hosts had left a fan and cold drinks and lollies to help, but it was difficult to sleep at 33 degrees in the room - much cooler in the corridors and 25 degrees outside. Good location - able to walk to city centre but unbearably hot in room!

It was nice and clean, the room was incredibly spacious and it was a convenient location to lots of shops and eateries.

I would highly recommend this place. The location is excellent. It’s a quiet neighborhood, yet everything is within walking distance. You don’t compromise living space for location. The unit is large, well equipped and very well maintained. Being on the third floor allows you to open windows for a nice breeze which is great in the summer. Secured off-street parking is a huge plus. I’m hard pressed to find any shortcomings. There was only one wine glass in the kitchen which was a bit odd. I guess sharing a wine glass with my wife was the most inconvenient part of the stay. So, I will give it 4.95 out of 5 stars.

The hotel is located in a beautiful area of Cardiff, just a few minutes from the city’s main attractions. Unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing. We booked and paid for a room with a combined shower and bathtub, but were given a room with only a walk-in shower. This was particularly upsetting because our daughter has additional needs and relies on water therapy as part of her routine. As a result, she was unable to have her usual water therapy during our three-day stay. When we arrived, the room had an unpleasant smell. The fan was also not cooling properly until technicians came to adjust it. The fan vent was dusty, and the outside of the glass window was dirty, making the view appear very blurred. We also had to request bathrobes before they were eventually provided. On the positive side, the hotel consistently supplied toiletries, towels, and complimentary tea and coffee. The staff were excellent, helpful, and courteous throughout our stay, which is why I would rate them highly. However, I was very disappointed with the management and the way our room allocation and other issues were handled. Overall, despite the beautiful location and friendly staff, the experience did not meet our expectations, and unfortunately, I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

Needs a bit of an overhaul and a deep clean. The wall in the hall was damp old/not fixed leak from the bathroom.

A lovely hotel with pleasant spa facilities, well equipped rooms, and great location in Cardiff Bay.
