(1,003 reviews) I had read previous reviews about unwelcoming staff / unfriendly atmosphere. well I can absolutely say that couldnt be further from the truth. Everyone was so pleasant and welcoming. Always a friendly smile and polite chat from the staff. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and the rooms have everything you could ask for. They are also cleaned daily if needed. The facilities are also great the spa area was a perfect wind down after a long day out exploring. 10/10 would recommend, and we will be booking a break here again in the new year. (1,000 reviews) The hotel was clean and very nice but no one tells you about the parking garage (if you use their parking). You get a key fob, they tell you to scan it and it will open the tiny one-door garage. Your car has to fit perfectly in the little tray and then the garage shuts and the car elevator goes all the way down to the basement. I wasn’t aware that my husband should not have been in the car as it was lowered. I panicked and had to call him back up with the fob, hoping he hadn’t opened any doors while he was down there. There are instructions in German but I’m American and the front desk agent didn’t explain the process to me. Thank God my husband wasn’t hurt down there. The restaurant was not open the entire time we were there, and that was quite disappointing. There are restaurants around within a 15 minute walk or so.
