Alabama Gulf Coast Waterpark Holidays

The proximity to the beach was great! The view from our balcony was beautiful. We enjoyed the outdoor pool and the gym. Negatives: The room was under my (wife’s) name. My husband was arriving 30 minutes before me, so I called to make sure he could check in and was assured he could, especially since we have the same last name. When he arrived a few hours later they would NOT let him go to the room before I got there, BUT they DID take HIS credit card for incidentals! Our refrigerator seemed to have just been unplugged when we got there, because although it felt cold at that time, the next morning there was water on the floor where the small freezer compartment had thawed, and it wasn’t cool anymore. We had food and medication in it that needed to stay cool! They had a fire drill while I was in the room alone. A few minutes after the alarm finally stopped blaring, a man knocked on my door claiming to be maintenance and wanting to come in to check something. I would not let him in until I called the front desk to confirm. When I did open the door a lady was out in the hall with him, (they were evidently checking all the rooms) so she came in. They both mentioned a letter, that I never saw. Turns out it was at the front desk, but no one had pointed it out to us. Minor: we did not get robes until I called the second day; I had to wait and finally wave down a waitress at breakfast (they weren’t busy); they didn’t give me a final receipt at checkout. Manager never returned my call

It was a nice apt,but we had problems with bugs in the apt

We had an infestation of ants all over the apartment. We had them in the bed on the coach in the kitchen crawling all over the floor. We had to go and buy some mop cleaner to try to get them out of the kitchen. The property was pretty but the actually air b n b was a night mare. We got bitten by ants.
