South Maui Waterpark Holidays

The property and rooms are very nice. Very lush and beautiful landscaping and easy walk to the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The issues that we had is that the air conditioner in the room was either not working properly, or undersized for the room. We had it set at 68 and it was hot in the room. We tried to turn it down to 66 and eventually 64, and I have a temp meter and the room was reading 80 degrees at night. It was very uncomfortable to sleep. We couldn't open the windows because all of the screen were either not there, or bent and it let in mosquitos. That was the biggest hang up to making this trip 5 stars.

This is a great place to get away for R&R. Very low key. Water slides close at 5 pm. Small beach. But the awesome pools make up for it. I'm glad I stayed here but wouldn't recommend staying here the whole trip if you want to get out and experience Maui. So I was glad I stayed at multiple locations on Maui on my trip the first time at Maui. Kaanapali beach area was awesome. So much to do there versus Wailea. Stop by Sugar beach bakery and the near by food trucks. So good. I mostly enjoyed the rest that day and cascading adult only pool. They provided complimentary reef safe sunscreen and banana bread.

What a fantastic hotel! I travelled to Maui with my husband and two children aged 5 & 8. Upton arrival the valet helped with our bags, gave the children and us gorgeous necklaces and check-in was quick! I didn’t like that the room we received was such a stretch to walk to so came back and the really helpful manager, despite being almost at full capacity moved us to a higher room category with a beautiful partial ocean view. Whilst we were there there was rain on and off but the hotel made sure the grounds were scrupulous. We were out exploring a lot but when in the hotel the children loved the soft beach, the pools (they must have gone on the slide 50 times) and making friends with other children. There were art classes on for the children and I got to try my hand at painting turtles and making glass art too! Room service was efficient and the rooms were turned down each day and left so neatly. I love that the Fairmont provide re-usable bottles for the guests vs plastic and there are ice and water dispensers all over the property. You can self park or valet- it’s refreshing that a resort doesn’t charge separate parking fees to self park vs the other four hotels we visited over this trip! I would recommend it fully for those with kids, and those wanting gorgeous suites with space! We would absolutely book here again! Thank you Fairmont your staff were so helpful and made our stay just perfect!

Stayed in a similar property before, Villas are located right on Wailea beach, behind the villas are the Shops @ Wailea that has restaurants, groceries, and many higher end shops. Brought the family and rented 2 villas. The one my wife and I stayed in was just remodeled with very nice contemporary furniture, art and all new kitchenware. Ocean views from the lanai. It's a great value for a family, We plan on returning again.

Absolutely beautiful! Staff were all friendly and attentive. We really appreciated the cleanliness, amenities, and high level of service.

The screen doors were torn and off track. The curtains didn’t close all the way. The spa was too expensive. The staff was fantastic! Especially Hunter, Kai, and the two young ladies that gave us wonderful rides on the golf carts. The yoga class was excellent. The air conditioning needed to be cooler as needed, and the bathrooms were WAY too hot. The lady that checked us in and out was great! The pool and hot tub were wonderful.

Everything about this stay was amazing. Such a beautiful and spacious condo. Pools and easy access to the beach. We are very happy with the stay and are already looking to come back again soon.
