Nice larger hotel. Parking is a challenge in Ålesund. We were fortunate to find a spot in lot next to hotel (needed to install app and pay (about $26/day)
Good location and many good food options in area.

The room was beautiful and modern with a huge window with a lovely view of the city and waterways. The breakfast buffet was excellent! The staff were friendly. I want to mention that the desk chair at the foot of the bed does not push in all the way and the legs slant backwards which impedes the walkway and is a tripping hazard in the dark. I would suggest a different chair or relocate the desk.

The staff was just wow, they saved my stay many times. The breakfast and green garden is such an enjoyable experience definitely booking again. Very good choice.
