Excellent hotel and excellent value! We stayed a few nights with friends for a visit to some of the distilleries in the area and it was ideal for relaxing of an evening in the lovely bar before sleeping well in comfortable beds... And enjoying a hearty breakfast before setting off again. Beautifully situated right next to the river too. Highly recommend and we'll be back!

Absolutely gorgeous hotel in the perfect location. The room was clean and well-designed and the included breakfast was the best we had on our trip.

Hotel Onich – Needs Significant Improvement Hotel Onich is definitely in need of an upgrade. The property is quite dated, and unfortunately, our room had several maintenance and cleanliness issues. There was black mold in the bathroom shower, the hairdryer was partially melted and would shut off once it overheated, requiring us to wait for it to cool down before using it again. The towels, although clean, were no longer white, and the sink drained very slowly. The showerhead was also broken and kept sliding down, making it difficult to use. The bathroom ventilation fan was extremely noisy, and there was an unpleasant smell in the hallway. Since there are very limited dining options in the area, we had no choice but to eat at the hotel restaurant. The food was edible, but nothing to write home about, and I wouldn't choose to eat there again. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the bed was comfortable. Fortunately, we were only staying for a short time and left very early the following morning. Overall, the hotel has potential, but it needs considerable updating and better attention to maintenance. On our next visit to the area, I would prefer to stay else where in Fort William

Very nice hotel. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Bathroom was or very high spec. with everything you need. The staff were all very friendly and made stay welcoming. We dinned in the restaurant which had a good selection and very reasonable priced menu.

From arrival to departure our experience was first class. We loved the decor. The rich and varied fabrics were delightful; some were real eye-poppers! The bedroom, number 6, was comfortable and beautifully laid out. The bathroom, was wonderful. Our breakfasts were superb. Overall? Well I've run out of superlatives, five star all the way. Sharon was a big help.
