There were a lot of negative views regarding this resort online so I was a bit skeptical. When going in once on site it was absolutely amazing. I’m not sure where all of the negative reviews come from check-in was smooth. The property was clean. There was a lot of amenities to keep us entertained the food was good. I really enjoyed myself at this resort and will definitely be returning.

So the hotel standards other JW Marriotts I have stayed at. The staff are great. The Sargassum was terrible which made outside pool area unbearable. Of course they cannot help this but since the sargassum is not being hauled away the smell is awful! The property is very far from everything, since there is only one pool and not much else on the resort to do, it left a lot to be desired.
