Lovely hotel, amazing and spacious family room. Breakfast buffet really good. Shame you have to pay extra for the pool considering the price of the room. Boathouse dining was really great.

A tastefully developed pub with ample rooms, stylish appearance and appealing atmosphere. Dinner was a little disappointing (had the buttermilk chicken burger) which felt as if it had been pre-prepared/defrosted and reheated. May have just been an unlucky experience as generally the food reviews are very good and the breakfast was truly excellent and very fresh. Husband's burger was good. Staff very pleasant. We had a waterside suite which looked over the cricket pitch at the back so was quiet. Used it as a base to start the Thames Path walk at its source near Kemble.

The hotel was a 5/5. A positive experience all round. The cleanliness of the hotel was the best we have been to for a while. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool and gym facilities with the stay were free of charge which was amazing to use. The location is great to get to and from the city centre by car. There is a £7 charge for parking overnight. The room is spacious, fan available when hot. Tea and coffee and milk in room plenty for 2 nights. Bathroom was very clean and modern. Very clean and modern hotel over all.

Room was nicely appointed and very comfortable. Blackout blind was a great aid to a good night's sleep as was the very comfortable bed. Powerful shower was greatly appreciated. Breakfast room was very elegant and the breakfast served was both plentiful and delicious. Loved spending time in this characterful, historic property ideally placed for visiting the main attractions Tewkesbury has to offer.
