Bermuda Waterpark Holidays

My husband and I stayed at the grotto bay resort for 12 days . We stayed on the third floor and had an ocean view with a balcony The view was amazing. The room was clean and I found it up to date. The pros are that you have a private lagoon to your self with beach umbrella and lounge chairs. It’s easy to put the chairs in the water for a nice treat while soaking up the sun. The sun is intense so bring plenty of sun block, they also provide float devices for free To access the beach and pool you will need to walk down several platforms of stairs I have bad knees but found this tolerable . If you stay to your right there is a walk way to bypass several stairs. We did not have the all inclusive as we like to venture out for most of our meals We did eat a few buffet breakfast for 30 ea and dinners and found it to be good. The drinks are heavily watered down I would not waste the $$$ on mix drinks in the restaurant or bar area. We did do the evening bbq buffet for 80 each and found that over priced for the quality of food. I think the motto is quantity not quality. There is a bus stop right outside the resort which makes it easy to take you any where on the island. We did take taxi most of the time which can be more expensive but we are seniors and we like convenience. Do not except the hotel to help with getting you a taxi they want you to use the hinge app which was difficult due to there WiFi. Overall the stay was very good and would recommend staying here.
