This was a beautiful location. Hard to get to... 3 hours drive from Maputo and you basically have to hire a driver. The staff was warm and lovely and always wanting to help make the vacation ideal. I was 1 of 6 guests for a couple of nights - and it was incredibly peaceful. be prepared for a serious dose of relaxing as it's 45 min to other more happening beach areas. I did not try the water activities as it was out of season/quite cold in June.
I'd say the only disappointment was the "all inclusive" did not include some basics like bourbon or tequila (got you an up charge). As did mixing drinks on the "included" list of liquors... And oysters/lobster were also a separate charge. With the price and the - cost at the location - that seemed silly.

We had a fantastic stay at Azura. We were warmly greeted straight from the get go by staff who were all smiling and gave clear instructions on what to expect for the week. The villa was exactly as described - clean, indoor/outdoor showers, plunge pool, and multiple sitting areas. The food for the week was wonderful - the staff was able to accommodate for my wife's dietary needs each day. For activities we rode horses in the water, snorkeled (saw eels, a small shark, and turtles), and did the sunset Dao cruise. All were wonderful with the activity directors offering friendly conversation and help as requested. The villa is the definition of relaxation - nothing cures office blues like drinks in your own slice of paradise.
Would come back to this location in a heartbeat, no questions asked.
