Guyana Ski Holidays

Terrible staff. I prepaid for breakfast. They couldn’t find it in their systems and continuously harassed me throughout my stay. I was with my 10 year old. Despite being told it was cleared, they continued everyday to pester me. I decided just to pay to get them to leave me alone. And I emailed corporate Marriott. On day of check out. They again told me I had an unpaid balance. Ridiculous. The rooms were not cleaned for two days. Despite asking repeatedly for room cleaning. No clean towels until we asked repeatedly. The door locked me out of my room one day because the battery died on the door. I had to wait for them to fix it. Though the handy man was very helpful. I am a frequent traveler and I don’t ever post on these forums. But I thought it was important so others don’t face the same issues. Don’t waste your time here. There are plenty of other hotels with better amenities and staff. If I could give them a zero I would.

Stayed two weeks. Apartment was clean and quiet upon arrival. Amenities were present as stated. Safe/secure location. Host/owner was friendly. Unit is up spiral metal stairs as well as both bedrooms within unit are upstairs, while both bathrooms are downstairs. This is not a useful floor plan layout and should be explicitly communicated on the posting. I traveled with a person whom struggled with stairs and they were forced to sleep on the futon couch/bed downstairs. Stove gas tank ran out quickly and tank was replaced quickly. One of three A/C units did not work the entire stay. Once upstairs first bedroom is open and one must walk through to entire second room; another layout flaw. Overall, I possibly would not stay here again do to the layout of the unit provided.

A decent hotel at a decent price.. very well located for the oil related activities in Guyana

The house we were supposed to stay in got cancelled after we landed in Guyana, and the owner let us stay here on short notice and basically saved our vacation! The house is in a convenient location between Cheddi Jagan and Georgetown. The beds are comfortable, AC gets really cold, ceiling fan in the sitting room and stand fan in the bedroom.
