The apartment was very nice, but staff and services were poor. The WiFi was so unstable as to be useless resulting in daily frustration as I tried in vain to handle email, make arrangements, and so on. Parking was available in front of our building initially, but then suddenly not. One evening I drove around for 30 minutes finally got a spot on the far side of the resort after someone left. When I complained about the WiFi, they first acted surprised, then worked with me to log in and finally admitted it was "unstable" and claimed that it was a common problem in the area, which turned out to be false as I was able to log onto WiFi everywhere we went in Trinity Beach, Cairns, and even deep in the Daintree Rainforest. He said he would text me the password for their Starlink service, which he said was for emergencies and such, but never did. The last day we were there they blocked the parking in front of our building to designate 2 of the 6 parking spaces for staff only, leaving 4 for the 6 units. So much for putting the customer first. The gym was pitiful; a tiny dark room with one treadmill, one elliptical, one bike machine, and some sort of combo strength machine. The resort property is small, dense, and surrounded by many other private residences a cramped and confusing layout with a tiny pool.

Excellent place, quiet area fantastic location

Dirty, filthy, unhealthy, bad communication Very bad experience, I booked from Expedia, the booking said I have to contact Edge apartments to confirm, called a couple of times and no answer and you can not leave a message, When we arrived , there is no one in the reception but this is nothing to what we found inside the apartment. Dirt, dust, mould, spider webs on the windows, stained pillows and to top it all moving bugs on the beds, we couldn't even stay for few minutes, when we tried to contact the manager, again no answer and can not leave a message, I then sent a text message to which he replies that he and another staff had cleaned the apartment earlier in the morning, if that was cleaned, I can't imagine how dirty was it. I don't understand how this place has a 4 star , do yourself a favour and don't book there, finally, they didn't refund us any money. I discovered I was not the first review on how bad these apartments are and certainly will not be the last.

Perfect location and on a beautiful beach! Not too far from Cairns but far enough away to avoid the traffic and crowds. You can hear the surf at night and wake up to amazing sunrises.

The staff was amazing very helpful,clean room great location plenty of things to do close by. The only downfall was our dryer in the room did not work, but there was a clothes rack that we were able to hang our clothes on to dry.

We stayed for 4 nights. Prior to arrival we were provided with an access code for a safe located outside the front door to the premises. We arrived around 7 pm (it was dark) and, unfortunately, there was no key in the safe. There was a sign outside the front door providing a mobile number to ring in case of emergency, but there was no response when I both rang and messaged the number. After about 30 minutes the proprietor came out from inside the premises with a key and let us in. She explained that the previous guest had been injured in a car accident and had not been able to vacate the room until 5.00 pm, meaning that the room had not been ready due to the need to clean it. No issues with this explantation, but we were annoyed that there had been no such advice in the safe, a message had not been sent to us via Expedia and, most significantly, there was no response from the emergency number. In relation to the property itself, it was comfortable enough. We had a private bathroom which was quite small. There is a kitchen, but you are not allowed to cook in it - but can heat food in a microwave and there is a fridge in both the kitchen and your room. This option is better suited for people with a car, as the walk from Macquarie Park metro is about 15-20 minutes which would be challenging if you had large luggage or walking difficulties, That said, there is a laneway leading to Epping Road nearby where there is a bus stop. Overall a satisfactory stay.
