Stumbled across this on a business overnight. The hotel has great character and decor with a literary theme to the rooms. The room was small but quite sufficient and the shower and facilities were all well maintained.

The property feels old and tired, and equal to the high price.
The rooms were hot and we were warned not to leave the windows open because sea gulls would come in.

Excellent, excellent property and central location. The washer combo is not very useful - this isn’t the fault of the property … just making travelers aware not to expect a fully serviceable washer with dryer.

Very nice, modern hotel. Only complaint was no facecloths in the bathroom.
Breakfast was good.
The man at the front desk (Anthony?) was really nice & he made some restaurant recommendations for dinner. He even walked outside with us to point us in the right direction. Would definitely stay here again.
