(356 reviews) Arrived very late - found it difficult to find entrance in the dark but once I did Receptionist let me in and was very helpful. Enjoyed my stay. Quiet due to time of year. Staff friendly. Pools looked great but didn't get to have a swim as only available from 10am and I was up and out early. Poolside bar and restaurant available at set times- didn't use this. Parking on site was 5 euros a night but safe to park outside on road so did that. Apartment very private with own patio and garden area to relax in. Quite spooky returning late at night as so quiet and no lights in apartment block. Free Wifi. Link to messaging service with Reception but none of my enquiries were ever answered so easier to just walk to reception and ask! Easy access to main road and short drive to nearest beach - beach in Manilva itself ( Dequesa) was excellent and nice and quiet too. Excellent value for money and would definitely stay here again. (381 reviews) Beautiful hotel on the outskirts of Algeciras. Nice quiet room and excellent onsite restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff, plenty of parking, although it costs the same as a car to park a motorcycle in the garage. Not much around in the area, but the hotel itself probably has everything you need. The staff were very accommodating and while we did have a problem with our room- a leak from an air con unit- they were not in control of- they were quick to move us to another room. Food was good- with three restaurants to choose from. The gym facilities were excellent and the indoor pool a welcome extra as we visited at the end of October. Mornings could be a bit chilly but the afternoons were beautiful and spent by the outdoor pools. Would recommend. First off there is no way this is a 5 star hotel, 4 at best (though they do charge 5 star prices!!) The room was clean and spacious overlooking the marina. The hotel inside was also very nice and very clean (the outside however was quite shabby and in need of work with flaky varnish, rusty handrails and a general lack of maintenance. (386 reviews) Our room was small for a twin bedded room and had a view of an internal walled courtyard which was not very nice. Our main issue was we found the room too hot and the air conditioning was not functioning as it was February so we had to open the windows at night which led to disturbed sleep due to a noisy fan/ventilation system and a smell of drains that wafted into the room from the street below. I did report these issues to reception on check out. I also felt the price I paid for the room was too high for the quality of the room we stayed in . (595 reviews) Room was very well maintained by the staff and the staff at the check-in were very helpful. However, the aircon wasn’t working throughout the whole building and I was told this would likely be until end of May until it was fixed. Whilst this wasn’t the end of the world, it meant the room was prone to getting humid and stuffy. Consumables were basic, I was on the end of the hand soap bottle and only the bare essentials, no conditioner, were provided. Whilst the piano in the lobby was broken, the hotel was otherwise really well decorated, maintained and held a nice atmosphere inside. Parking is a struggle if you have a car!
