Overal Hotel very basic , breakfast very poor, most of the hot food was cold , had a good selection just not warm enough , staff very friendly and polite

Very unique beautiful old hotel made up of several converted homes. We were in the Chateau Bauduc Suite which was very large with a very comfortable bed and a separate door that opened up to a beautiful courtyard. The service was excellent and the food was great. There is no air conditioning and our windows opened up to a public space so it was uncomfortably warm until the public space cleared out and we could open the door and all of the windows. The shower had trouble draining but not a huge issue. We had mixed feelings about this hotel but overall enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it in cooler weather.

The property is in a great location for access to Glasgow it is clean, modern and welcoming.

My husband and I stayed at Ardtorna for one night on our visit to Scotland. The property was very clean and had lots of high end touches and finishes. To me, the bed was very comfortable, but may be too soft for some. The location is great, very quiet and peaceful. We did feel a little bit like we were intruding on the property. When we checked in, we had to walk right through the kitchen where the host was cooking to get to our room and our room was directly above the kitchen. It was quite loud in the morning and evening with food preparation and we found the noise really carried. We also found the room to be quite small and stuffy - very little airflow. You couldn’t really open the window without opening the blinds, which made for a very bright morning. Overall we were fairly happy with our stay, but personally I think it was overpriced for the size of the room and us being woken up before 8am.

Staff were very welcoming when we arrived, my daughter really needed the toilet on arrival and a member of staff gave us a pass to access a toilet before we had checked in, thank you!! The bed was super comfy, we had a great nights sleep! The room was a lot bigger than we expected, I would definitely come back in the future.

Nice budget hotel right in the downtown area, very close to lots of restaurants & shopping area.
