The front desk was very helpful and the breakfast buffet was very well done. The room was very bare though. There was nothing to unpack your suitcase into like drawers so had to keep everything in the suitcase for five days and the location. If you didn't rent a car, bus transportation was a nightmare. Got lost numerous times as the driver did not announce upcoming stops and no monitor working saying the next stop. If you have a car, it's about a 20 minute ride to downtown.

Staff were extremely helpful. Close to a lot of attractions. Clean. Be mindful- It’s a boutique hotel inside of a business building.

The apartment was clean and spacious, it was a wonderful spot to stretch out, reorganize and relax for a few.

The room was beautifully appointed and very clean. We opted for the Sapphire suite with access to the hot tub. (side note- this is advertised as being private, but it is on a shared balcony with no dividers). We also chose to include breakfast and that was wonderful. There were many hot and cold food options and a good variety of beverages as well. Great offering especially when traveling with kids. You should absolutely visit the spa if you get a chance. It was the best way to end our trip. I was absolutely impressed by the kindness of the staff- Anna at the front desk and Robert with maintenance in particular. Anna did everything she could to assure we had a wonderful stay and Robert was incredibly kind and helpful. They really made the stay exceptional for us. I would ultimately return because of them. You can stay at a nice hotel anywhere, but the staff is what makes this place stand out. Thank you so much for that.

Wonderful service. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The beds were super comfortable which was lovely after a week of hiking around Iceland. The spa is really lovely and peaceful, it was nice to use the sauna, steam room and hot tub during our stay.

We loved our stay here. I booked based solely on reviews which sometimes doesn’t always hold true…but this time it did. this is a self check in hotel. It’s compact one thing I missed was that there is no air conditioning and it was a heat wave in the 70’s when we were there, but we weren’t in the room that much and I had traveled with a mini fan so it worked out OK. Is connected to an excellent bakery where we enjoyed coffee and cinnamon rolls for breakfast. The location was good for us. It wasn’t a very difficult walk to get to rainbow Road.

Such a lovely & charming hotel. Amazing location, literally right across from the Hallgrímskirkja church, and walkable all over downtown and the waterfront. So many great eating options nearby. Staff are lovely and my room was so wonderful & cozy. Highly recommend. Would go back!
