The photos of the property are there, it is updated. What I didn’t really understand prior to arriving was the long set of stairs to drag my suitcase up. It’s like 4 stories and no elevator. The other issue is that the noise from neighboring rentals would wake me often, sometimes at 2:30 am—and the street noise can sometimes last pretty late. It was hard to get a good nights rest. The digital key was often problematic. Check in at 3:00pm was late.. we didn’t have access until 4 pm, which was a problem for us.

I do NOT recommend this place. The apartment did not match pictures. I booked through Expedia and then to check into apartment had to download a CityApartments app plus pay $1 euro as part of check in process. Expedia said check in time was 3pm, City Apartment said 3:30pm yet didn’t receive email with lock box code and actual apartment location until 4:15pm (and that was after I had messaged in both the Expedia app, City Apt app and called City Apt on the phone). Note the lockbox key is at separate location, a 5-7 min walk from actual apartment). The apartment was old and did not appear very clean. The kitchen was nothing like the pictures. The shower was a corner shower. Thankfully my husband and I are not big people because large person may not fit between the narrow sliding glass curved doors. Check out was 10:30am. Staff entered our apartment at 10am with their own keys (did not knock). We departed at 10:15am and they were waiting down the hall for us to leave. The location was somewhat noisy (within the apartment building and coming from outside), I had ear plugs which helped. The only benefit was an elevator (we were on 4th floor) and the walkable neighborhood of restaurants, pubs, shops, St Stephen’s park, etc). Definitely not worth the money spent. I would not stay here again.

The staff was beyond helpful and friendly. The rooms were beautiful. The beds were dreamy. The restaurant fantastic.

Place was nice, clean, spacious but is dated. No extra touches. Staff all very young, service slow in bar/resturant bar. Would stay again due to location but could be improved.

Decent budget stay—you get what you pay for 👍 The highlight of this hostel is the staff; the check-in agent was incredibly friendly, approachable, and accommodating. * Location: Not right in the heart of the center, but very accessible. It’s just a short walk to a bus stop that connects you directly to Temple Bar, etc.. Plus, a cheap airport bus stops only a few steps away. * Room: I booked a 2-bed dorm. The bed was okay and served its purpose, but wasn't the most comfortable. The room can get noisy since it faces the street and sits near the common washroom (you'll hear people coming and going). Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper! Also, the layout is a bit of a maze, and I kept getting lost finding my room. * Facilities: The shared bathroom is clean with plenty of toilet/shower cubicles and sinks. Body wash/shampoo is provided, but towels may cost extra, so bring your own. Verdict: The overall appearance is just okay. It is definitely not a fancy stay, but it is acceptable for the price. I would probably stay here again.

Great spot close to UCD with parking and a very decent kitchen! The accommodations were very tidy and comfortable. I would stay again!
