Property is old and dated. So many of the public areas are no longer used and in disrepair. Huge fire trap. Stair down the parking ramp are locked at the bottom.

Nice hotel but you feel nickel and dimed for everything- parking is not cost that what was on a site and calling for early check in, was offered for decent fee. We ended up getting there later and same fee. Would have been ok but next resort we got there early too and they offered early check in for room with comment “we would never charge for early entry if room is ready”. This combining parking and this plus not access to roof due to private party which was never told ahead of time left it really a miss

Terrible experience at Ship Tavern. The hotel room was ok but did not feel high end. the toilet was rickety and the cold water barely worked. Breakfast, tea, cigar staff were all excellent.
