A true oasis in suburban Birmingham. Incredible period building, the best gardens of any hotel we have visited and genuinely lovely staff.

Characterful hotel with quality fittings and modern bathrooms. High level of cleanliness with friendly and efficient staff. Well equipped bedrooms. Only let down for us was the full English breakfast. Quality of produce and presentation lower than expected. Eggs in particular were of poor quality, were tasteless and overcooked. Solid yolks instead of runny. Just “okay”.

Lovely property, staff and rooms. Evening meal good quality but overpriced. Spa limited for residents and indoor pool too shallow to swim in.
