Pros: Great staff and service at checkin and checkout, roof top bar is cool, central location walkable to many attractions. Cons: the property itself is not impressive, no grand lobby, small restaurant area, very small pool at the roof top advertised as a major attraction, limited breakfast buffet. If you ever stayed at a Ritz, Savoy, Four Seasons this hotel would be the least impressive one. Lastly, valet dung the trunk of my rental, not a big deal since I have full coverage but annoying to deal with the paper work.

We have traveled all over and always stay at 5 star hotels. This hotel was the best by far, the staff was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I can not say enough good things about the staff. We thank them so much for an amazing stay. We will be back next year. Highly recommended.

Villa Flöckner is super convenient to the Hauptbahnhof, no more than a 5-6 walk. Room was VERY quiet and A/C worked great. A bus stop (my ticket was free) is just across the street and provides ready access to the Alt Stadt in 15 minutes. That said, the old town is not close, requiring a bus ride or a ~30+ minute walk. Still, if you go along the river, it is a pretty walk. Breakfast was good but not as varied as other places I visited on this trip. A word of caution - if you are mobility impaired, this is not the place to stay. Although there is an elevator, it opens between floors, meaning you must walk up or down stairs, even to get to the main office to check in or check out.
