The location in the old town could not be better. A few minutes walk to the cable car up to the fortress, to the many shops in the old town. Walking bridges are also not far away if you want to walk to the other side of town across the river. If you can book a room on the fourth floor at the top with access to your own roof top sitting area. This is one of the best small hotels I have ever stayed at. Ulrike organised us taxis when needed, and she also organised the ‘Sound of Music’ tour for us - which by the way was a lot of fun, even if you are not a super fan of the movie.
